WEEK 1 INTERIM

INTRODUCTION:
Assalamualaikum
My name is Muhammad Haiqal Haziq B. Mad Nor who is studying in my first week in UiTM Pahang Campus Jengka. I would like to share about my first interim week as a student of UiTM Pahang. It was a hectic week because we were supposed to go trough the MDS(Minggu Distini Siswa) . On that week, we were trained to be dicipline, punctual, respect and rational student. We need to follow all the command form our OC(Orientation Council). All the OCs trained us well and we learned something new on that week. After the MDS week done, we, siswa and siswi were very excited to go through the Interim Week which is in duration of three weeks. During the first week of interim, we need to attend all sort of classes including Study Sklills UED102. The thing that we had learn are as follow:

It was very hard for me when making the transition from school to university. There were many memories made when i in primary and secondary school.

THE CHARACTERISTIC OF SUCCESFUL STUDENTS:

- They turn in all assignments
- They pay attention in classes and are courteous and polite
- They speak up in class when they need a help
- They learn to identify whats need to be studied in greates details
- They st short-term and long-term goals
- They enjoy to be a successful student
- They know they are responsible for their own success
USING LEARNING STYLES TO ENHANCE PERFOMANCE
Once the performance objectives have been defined for a unit lesson plan, you face two more major planning tasks:
1. Designing how to give information to the students and
2. Designing opportunities for the students to use (really learn) the information.
This newsletter addresses Task #1, providing students with ways to RECEIVE information. Different students have different strengths in ways of receiving information. These are called LEARNING STYLES. The figure to the left shows four of the major styles or ways of receiving information. Your unit plan should be designed to give different style options to students who have been helped to identify their style strengths and/or the styles they would like to strengthen. This is not a matter of requiring each student to learn his or her best way. It is a matter of providing options from which each student can select two or more favorite activities.

WRITTING EFFECTIVE GOALS STATEMENTS
S - specific(the goal need to be in detail not just an overall statement)
M - measurable(the goal must be something that can be count)
A - achievable(the goal must be something that can be achieve with the person area)
R - realistic(the goal must be something logic that can be achieve with the human capability)
T - timely(the goal must be achieve in a period time that had been decided)
